“This morning, January 15, in the city of Lviv, an enemy Shahed UAV struck a playground near the monument to Stepan Bandera. Fortunately, there were no casualties. The display window of St. Olha and Elizabeth Church was damaged, as well as windows in residential buildings. Pyrotechnicians worked at the scene, inspecting the area for explosive objects”, - the Lviv State Emergency Service said in a statement on January 15.
Chemical specialists also worked at the site, using special equipment to determine the maximum permissible concentrations of hazardous substances in the air.
The mayor of Lviv also reported that as a result of the shelling, shattered windows were recorded at School No. 55 and a nearby college, as well as at Lviv Polytechnic University.
