“During the night, the enemy once again carried out strikes on the country’s energy infrastructure, as a result of which households in the Zhytomyr and Kharkiv oblasts were left without power. Emergency restoration work is ongoing everywhere the security situation allows. At present, the most difficult situation is in Kyiv and the Kyiv oblast”, - the Ministry of Energy reported on Telegram on January 15.
It is noted that network restrictions are in effect in the Kyiv oblast, which is why previously introduced hourly outage schedules are temporarily not being applied. A return to forecasted schedules will occur after the situation in the power system stabilizes. Restoration work in the capital and the oblast continues around the clock, despite difficult weather conditions.
Network restrictions, as in previous weeks, remain in the Odesa oblast. Emergency restoration work in the region continues following previous enemy attacks.
“Due to bad weather, 7 settlements in the Kyiv and Chernihiv oblasts remain without power... Consumers in frontline and border regions across the country remain without power for long periods as a result of hostilities”, - the statement also says.
