“The number of people killed as a result of the enemy strike on the suburbs of Kharkiv has reached 4. Another 6 people sustained injuries of varying severity”, - reported the head of the Kharkiv Oblast Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov.
Later, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported that russia had carried out a massive strike on the territory of a postal terminal in the suburbs of Kharkiv. Buildings were destroyed and several fire outbreaks occurred over a total area of about 500 sq. m.
State Emergency Service personnel rescued 30 people, two of them from under the debris of the structures of the destroyed building.
Emergency rescue operations and firefighting are currently ongoing. Units of the State Emergency Service are working at the site under the constant threat of enemy shelling.
