“Right now, this is the most difficult situation with electricity this winter. In Dnipro and the oblast, there are problems with electricity transmission after strikes on high-voltage infrastructure. In Kyiv, the enemy targeted generation during severe cold — when the load on the energy system is at its highest”, - DTEK reported.
As energy workers noted, in the Kyiv oblast the consequences of the attack were compounded by serious damage to networks due to bad weather. Currently, 187 crews are working around the clock in the region.
As reported, the operation of water supply, heat supply, and electric transport systems was halted in Kyiv.
