“A russian strike is a gross violation of the Vienna Convention and a reminder that russian brutality knows no borders. We are ready to provide the necessary assistance to our Qatari colleagues”, - Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha also said on January 9 on X.
Sybiha addressed the Gulf states with a request to publicly respond to russia’s actions. “We call on the Gulf states to respond through diplomatic channels and publicly to the irresponsible and dangerous actions of russia”, - the foreign minister wrote.
Photos of the aftermath were also shared on X by the Qatari embassy, which cited Sybiha’s words about russia’s violation of the Vienna Convention.
