
"The consequences of a combined enemy attack on Kyiv as of 04:40 a.m.: residential buildings and infrastructure facilities have been damaged, there are dead and injured. At this time, 4 deaths are known. 19 people were injured. Medics hospitalized 14 of them. The rest were treated on site. Among the dead is one medic. Four medical workers were injured", - Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klychko reported on Telegram on January 9.
There is damage to critical infrastructure. In some districts of the city, there are disruptions to electricity and water supply.
In the Darnytskyi district, a UAV fell in the courtyard of a residential building. A nearby one-story shop and the glazing of windows of a nearby nine-story residential building were partially damaged. Also, as a result of UAV debris impact, fires broke out in two residential buildings and garages.
In the Desnianskyi district, as a result of a UAV hitting the roof of an 18-story residential building, a fire broke out. A fire also occurred in a five-story residential building. In another five-story building, smoke appeared in the stairwell. In addition, the territory of a shopping center and a sanatorium was damaged.
In the Dniprovskyi district, UAV debris fell on the roof of a one-story non-residential building. Also, as a result of falling UAV debris, fires broke out in a 16-story and a nine-story residential building. The blast wave partially destroyed the roof of a three-story residential building. In addition, debris fell on a playground in the courtyard of a residential building and near a tram depot.
In the Pecherskyi district, as a result of falling UAV debris, the facade of a nine-story residential building was partially destroyed. A non-residential multi-story building was also damaged.
"Rescuers are working at the sites, liquidation of the consequences is ongoing. Information is being clarified", - the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported.
It is noted that among the injured are five rescuers.
