“In the Pokrovsk community of the Donetsk oblast, there are currently 1,800 civilians remaining, including 1,250 in the city of Pokrovsk. This was stated during an online briefing on January 7 by the spokesperson for the Donetsk OMA, Dmytro Petlyn”, - Ukrinform reports.
Petlyn clarified that the Pokrovsk community includes the city of Pokrovsk and more than 40 settlements, in particular Andriivka, Bratske, Verbove, Vyshneve, Vovche, Dibrova, and others.
Petlyn also reminded that evacuation from the city of Pokrovsk is not being carried out due to the difficult security situation, but from some settlements of the Pokrovsk district there are still isolated cases when civilians are being evacuated.
“There is zero evacuation from Pokrovsk… As for the Pokrovsk district, sometimes several people are evacuated from Dobropillia and from the Kryvorozka community”, - Petlyn stated.
