"Today I held interviews with candidates for the positions of heads of Oblast State Administrations. The discussions were thorough. I am grateful to everyone who is ready to take responsibility for the situation in the region and to serve our state and our people. Appointments will be made in the near future in the Vinnytsia, Dnipro, Poltava, Ternopil, and Chernivtsi oblasts", - President Zelensky reported on Telegram on January 4.
He also noted: "Thank you to the leaders who worked in the respective positions. The names of the new leaders will be announced after the completion of the formal procedures to prepare the appointments. The key is strengthening local self-government, the resilience of communities, and the capacity of regions to protect lives and help communities in need. Each of our oblasts, all our cities and communities, must stand shoulder to shoulder in the defense of all of Ukraine".
