"One person was killed and two more were wounded as a result of russian shelling of the Donetsk oblast. On the first day of the new year, police recorded 1,519 enemy strikes along the frontline and against the residential sector. Eight settlements were under fire: the cities of Bilozerske, Druzhkivka, Kostiantynivka, Sloviansk, and the villages of Oleksiive-Druzhkivka, Sviatohorivka, Dmytrivka and Novopryhozh", - the Donetsk oblast police reported on January 2.
Seventeen civilian objects were damaged, including 11 residential buildings. In Druzhkivka, russians killed a civilian with an FPV drone strike and wounded another person. A civilian vehicle was damaged.
One person was wounded in Kostiantynivka as a result of a hit by an enemy FPV drone. In Sloviansk, russia’s forces struck with two drones: a Granat-4 and a Geran-2. One apartment building and four private houses, a café, and a civilian vehicle were damaged.
On Oleksiive-Druzhkivka, russia dropped a KAB-250 bomb — a private house was damaged. In Sviatohorivka of the Pokrovsk district, five private houses were damaged.
