“As a result of the nighttime attack in Odesa, there is damage to infrastructure and residential buildings; in parts of the city there is no electricity, water, or heating”, - official sources in Odesa reported on the morning of December 31 following the nighttime attack by the russians.
In two districts of the city, hits on apartment buildings were recorded. In one of the buildings, apartments caught fire. All necessary services are working on site. Buildings are being inspected.
Among the 6 injured are three children: a 7-month-old infant — in moderate condition; a 14-year-old boy — in stable condition; an 8-year-old girl — in moderate condition. All the injured were taken to medical facilities and are receiving all necessary assistance.
The DTEK company reported on its official Telegram channel that on the night of December 31, russia attacked two DTEK energy facilities in the Odesa oblast.
“The damage is significant. Restoring the equipment to operational condition will take time”, - the statement said.
DTEK recalled that during December the enemy significantly damaged ten substations in the Odesa oblast, and since the beginning of the year has attacked 25 energy facilities in the oblast.
