"On Christmas night, the enemy continued attacks on Ukrainian energy infrastructure. As a result, households in the Chernihiv, Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, and Odesa oblasts were disconnected (in the Odesa oblast, the outages were caused by previous shelling)", - said State Secretary of the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine Serhii Suiarko at a briefing on the state of the energy system as of the morning of December 25.
"Energy workers are doing everything possible to restore all damaged equipment and supply power to all consumers as quickly as possible. Emergency repair works are ongoing around the clock", - the representative of the Ministry of Energy noted.
Suiarko also noted that today hourly outage schedules and power limitation schedules for businesses are being applied in all regions of Ukraine.
