The law also provides for the allocation of $800 million for the purchase of weapons for the AFU through U.S. companies — $400 million over the next two years.
Another $175 million is allocated for the defense of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. In addition, the law limits the ability of the U.S. Department of Defense to reduce the number of American troops in Europe below 76,000.
