
“European leaders, following talks with Volodymyr Zelensky on the evening of December 15, presented a six-point plan of security guarantees for Ukraine. This was a joint statement by European leaders”, - the Telegram channel “Radio Svoboda” reports.
The plan includes:
1. Permanent military support for Ukraine and maintaining the strength of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at up to 800,000 personnel in peacetime;
2. The formation of multinational forces under European leadership within a “coalition of the willing”, with support from the United States and possible operations on the territory of Ukraine;
3. A ceasefire monitoring mechanism which, under U.S. leadership and with the participation of international representatives, would monitor the situation — for early warning of attacks, recording violations, and responding to them;
4. Investments in Ukraine’s recovery, financing reconstruction, as well as trade agreements and compensation for damages from russia. Russian assets in the EU remain frozen;
5. A commitment to respond with military, intelligence, economic, and diplomatic means in the event of escalation and an attack on Ukraine;
6. Support for Ukraine’s accession to the EU.
