75% of respondents reject a peace agreement option under which Ukraine would have to withdraw its troops from Donbas, limit the size of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and receive no concrete security guarantees. This is evidenced by the results of a nationwide survey conducted by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS).
It is noted that only 17% of Ukrainians are ready for such a “deal”. At the same time, the majority of Ukrainians (63%) say they are ready to endure the war for as long as necessary.
The survey was conducted using telephone interviews (CATI) based on a random sample of mobile phone numbers among 547 adult respondents from all regions of Ukraine controlled by the legitimate authorities.
As reported, the russian ambassador to the United Kingdom Andrey Kelin stated that there should be no peace agreement — only the complete capitulation of Ukraine.
