“President Volodymyr Zelensky stated during an online briefing on December 8 that Ukraine is not considering the possibility of transferring any of its territories, since neither national legislation, nor international law, nor moral principles allow for this”, - Ukrainska Pravda reports.
“Are we considering the question of giving away any territories? We have no legal right — under Ukrainian law, our Constitution, international law, to be honest. And we also have no moral right. Of course, russia insists that we give away territories. We, of course, do not want to give anything away. This is what we are fighting for, and you know that perfectly well”, - the President emphasized.
Zelensky also added that the United States is currently looking for compromise solutions to resolve the situation.
