Providing housing for displaced persons should be related to their employment. Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities of Ukraine Gennadiy Zubko expressed such an opinion to reporters in Slavyansk, - informs the correspondent of OstroV.
"Housing should follow the work. When they say – let’s build housing ... We built whole settlements in Zhytomyr region for displaced people from the Chernobyl zone. They were taken 10 years later due to the fact that no one lives there, because there is no work. The first question here is employment, the second one, in fact, what local authorities are doing now – providing housing for those persons who are already there. We will see what’s in the future. Those employers who employ also need to join us in solving the housing issue," - said Zubko.
