“We continue an extremely difficult stage of defense of the Pokrovsk–Myrnohrad agglomeration. That is why I again worked with the commanders of troop groupings, corps, brigades, regiments, and individual battalions. The battle continues. Ukrainian units continue to hold the northern part of Pokrovsk”, - reported Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi on Facebook on December 4.
“In the area of Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad, through active operations we block the enemy’s attempts to gather assault infantry groups and advance around these settlements. Directly in the cities, our warriors continue to hold certain districts”, - emphasized the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“At a time when the occupiers ignore manpower losses, Ukrainian commanders have a clear understanding of the importance of preserving the life and health of their personnel. For this purpose, during a meeting with our commanders, issues of coordinated application, ensuring advancement, and timely rotation of units conducting search-and-assault operations to identify and eliminate the enemy were clarified”, - Syrskyi noted.
He pointed out that to ensure the stability of the defense, a number of decisions were made regarding combat management, interaction, and comprehensive support of the forces and means involved.
“In this context, particular attention is given to organizing additional logistical routes, timely medical evacuation, as well as conducting counter-battery operations and countering enemy UAVs. We hold the line. The fight continues”, - Syrskyi emphasized.
