“We welcome the efforts of the Trump administration to look for reasonable solutions, reasonable outcomes. Various versions of this plan are a matter for negotiations. There can be no talk of any concessions, any surrender of our approaches to those key points of solving the tasks before us, including in the context of the so-called ‘special military operation’”, - said on November 26 the deputy head of the russian Foreign Ministry Sergei Ryabkov, russian media report.
Ryabkov assured that russia’s position has from the start been “quite consistent”.
“It concerns different aspects of the current situation and in large part goes back to the root causes of the crisis that we have been dealing with for a long, long time”, - Ryabkov repeated the worn-out kremlin talking point.
According to him, “various elements of Anchorage in and of themselves represent compromise solutions”.
“This is the basis against which we will check ourselves when we study and continue discussing the version that is now on the table or will be on the table”, - Ryabkov added.
