“Russia has not received any official documents from the U.S. regarding a settlement of the situation in Ukraine”. This was stated by russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova.
“Right now the media is full of leaks: discussions, points, plans. Some articles mention one number of points, others mention a different number. Officially, the russian side, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs — which is the established channel of communication with the United States of America — has not received any such proposals, plans, anything at all on this matter. We are open to dialogue”, - she was quoted as saying by russian media.
Earlier, putin’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov also stated that there were no innovations beyond what the russian dictator discussed with U.S. President Donald Trump during negotiations in Anchorage.
As reported earlier, the President of Ukraine officially received from the American side a draft plan that, according to the U.S. side, could activate diplomacy, and stated his readiness “to work on the plan’s points so that it brings a dignified end to the war”.
