“Zuhres, the Zuivka TPP was attacked, the strike was delivered to the main machine hall where the steam turbines and generators of the power plant are located. The station supplies electricity to the occupied territory and is not integrated into Ukraine’s energy system. Its capacity is approximately 1.2–1.3 GW (4 power units of ~300 MW each)”, - the message clarified.
“Another moment of the strikes in Zuhres tonight”, - write the “republic’s” media.
“As a result of the unprecedented attack on the republic’s energy system, the Zuivka and Starobesheve TPPs were damaged. Many settlements were left without power, causing boiler houses and filtration stations to shut down”, - the “DNR” leader Denis Pushilin wrote on social media in the morning.
