“NABU and SAPO are conducting a large-scale operation to expose corruption in the energy sector. Fifteen months of work and 1,000 hours of audio recordings”, - NABU reported on its Telegram channel on November 10.
The activities of a high-level criminal organization have been documented. Its members built a large-scale corruption scheme to influence strategic state-owned enterprises, particularly JSC “NAEK Energoatom”.
“Details will be published later”, - NABU wrote.
At the home of Justice Minister Herman Halushchenko, who served as Ukraine’s Minister of Energy from 2021 to 2025, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine conducted searches on the morning of November 10. This was reported by MP Yaroslav Zhelezniak.
“Herman Halushchenko is also being searched by NABU. What a coincidence”, - the MP wrote after the news about searches at the premises of businessman and co-owner of the “Kvartal 95” studio, Tymur Mindich.
Later, Zhelezniak reported that the Bureau was also conducting searches at “Energoatom”, where Halushchenko served as vice president from May 2020 to April 29, 2021.
Zhelezniak later added that searches were also being carried out at the premises of Ihor Myroniuk, who had previously been an adviser to then-Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko.
“My sources referred to Myroniuk as the ‘overseer’ for Herman on many matters. Contractors for various projects in state energy companies were invited to his office for discussions. And you know what else? Before that, Mr. Myroniuk had been an assistant and a very close associate of the traitor Andriy Derkach for countless years”, - the MP noted.
