The United States considers the war between Ukraine and the russian federation one of the most important conflicts to resolve. Washington is confident that it will succeed in doing so. This was stated by the US Presidential Special Envoy Steve Witkoff at the American Business Forum in Miami, according to RBC-Ukraine.

He emphasized that there has been some progress in resolving the war in Ukraine and added that this conflict “needs to be settled next” after Gaza.

"We have a lot of work to do with regard to security protocols for Ukraine. There are a lot of discussions that technical teams have to have at the lower level before the leaders can get to a deal", - said Trump’s special envoy.

According to him, the US leader is constantly monitoring the issue of resolving the war in Ukraine.
