Moscow is “on the path to peace” in its war against Ukraine and allegedly seeks “to prevent the conflict from escalating”. This was stated by Kirill Dmitriev, special representative of the president of the russian federation for economic cooperation and director general of the russian direct investment fund, as quoted by russian media.
“We are on the path to peace, and as peacemakers we need this to happen. We are on the path to better understanding each other… through investment and cooperation we can move forward and make the world safe”, - he said during an event in Riyadh.
According to the kremlin representative, “people are focused on the conflict around russia”, but moscow “does not want the conflict to expand further”.
At the same time, russia continues daily attacks on Ukrainian cities, missile and drone terror, and offensive attempts in eastern Ukraine.
Also, the U.S. intelligence reported to Congress that putin intends to fight “until victory” to justify the massive losses of the russian army.
