Ukrainian troops swiftly eliminated the russian flag that the occupying forces had hung on the sign at the entrance to Pokrovsk. This was reported by the analytical project DeepState.
According to the source, the “rag” was spotted around 9:40 a.m, and by 10:40 a.m. it had already been destroyed by Ukrainian defenders.
DeepState notes that the situation in Pokrovsk remains difficult: the enemy continues to move infantry into the city and is attempting to gain a foothold. The Defense Forces, in turn, are inflicting maximum losses on the enemy.
According to analysts, Pokrovsk is currently located in a large gray zone. South of the railway, Ukrainian positions are still holding, while to the north, russian units have already infiltrated.
As previously reported, russia has intensified its offensive in the east, and the situation around Pokrovsk has noticeably worsened.
