The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine introduces a moratorium on the payment of the Russian debt. This was stated by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk when opening a government meeting, - said LIGABusinessInform.
"Due to the fact that the Russian Federation refused to accept our proposals (debt restructuring, - Ed.), the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine introduces a moratorium on the payment of the so-called Russian debt", - said he.
Yatsenyuk stressed that it was about 3 billion dollars and 507 million dollars, which are loans of Yuzhnoye DO and Ukravtodor. Yatsenyuk said that the moratorium would be valid till the acceptation of the Ukrainian proposals on debt restructuring or legal judgment in the dispute.
