“We are bringing home 185 of our defenders from russian captivity. One hundred eighty-three are privates and sergeants, two are officers. Warriors of the Armed Forces, the National Guard, the State Border Guard Service. Along with the defenders, 20 civilians are also returning. Everyone will definitely receive the necessary support. Our warriors were in Mariupol, at ‘Azovstal’, Chornobyl NPP. Most had been in captivity since 2022, and now finally they are home”, - said President Volodymyr Zelensky.
“Thanks to everyone who makes these exchanges possible. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, we have managed to bring back home more than 7,000 of our people. We must bring back everyone. Every day we are working on this”, - he added.
