"Right now, unfortunately, the russians are giving negative signals regarding meetings and the further development of events. Strikes on our cities and villages continue. New victims every day. The enemy will take into account only strong pressure in response to all this. Pressure is necessary. We count on it. Steps are needed specifically from russia – steps toward real diplomacy", - stated President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky on August 27.
He noted that today he had a conversation with President of Finland Alexander Stubb.
"A very good conversation – as always, we are coordinating our positions for more substantial results. Our teams are actively preparing the architecture of strong and multilateral security guarantees for Ukraine, with everyone involved: Europeans, Americans, and our other partners in the coalition of the willing. Military commanders, defense ministers, security advisers – at different levels we are preparing components of future security. We are accelerating in determining the details. It is already time to organize the format for a leaders’ conversation in order to define the key points and timelines", - Zelensky said.
He thanked the President of Finland for constructiveness and advice, and noted that he would be glad to see him on a visit to Kyiv.
