"The United States is ready to provide surveillance and command data, intelligence on the battlefield situation, ensure satellite monitoring of the ceasefire regime, and support air defense by sending planes and radars to Ukraine. The deployment of troops is still not being considered", - writes ZN.ua, citing the Financial Times.
According to the publication’s sources, under the current plan, the troops of the "Coalition of the Willing" could be deployed deeper within Ukraine’s territory as a third line of defense — and it is this line that the US should support.
In front of this line, a powerful "shield" of Ukrainian troops, trained and armed by NATO countries, may be created, and at the frontline, a demilitarized zone patrolled by the troops of a third country, agreed upon by Ukraine and russia, may appear.
