France and Germany supported the initiative of Ukraine on "ceasefire" in Donbass as of September 1st. It was stated by the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, - reported the official website of the head of the state on Facebook.
"Today the OSCE, as well as our partners in the Normandy Quartet France and Germany, supported the initiative of Ukraine. Now everyone is waiting for a response from one person - Putin who is responsible for aggression, for murder," - said Poroshenko.
He also recalled that Ukrainian representatives in the trilateral contact group came out with the initiative on his behalf on August 26th to introduce ceasefire as of September 1st.
