"Attention! As a result of enemy shelling in the city of Kostiantynivka, a gas distribution station owned by LLC 'Gas Transmission System Operator of Ukraine' was damaged", - stated the chairman of the board of JSC "DONETSKOBLGAZ" Vadym Batiy.
According to him, due to numerous damages, it was not possible to maintain working pressure in Kostiantynivka’s gas supply system, which led to the cessation of gas distribution to the city’s consumers.
"Taking into account the security situation in the city, the inability of the emergency service to respond in a timely manner to localize and eliminate emergency situations, the shortage of personnel, and the lack of safety guarantees for employees performing the work, further restoration of gas supply in the city of Kostiantynivka is impossible", - Batiy noted.
