“Ukrainian-made ‘Flamingo’ missiles with a range of more than 3000 km, which have been launched into serial production, were recorded in the workshop of one of the country’s leading defense companies, Fire Point, at an undisclosed location in Ukraine on Thursday, August 14, 2025”, - photojournalist Yefrem Lukatsky wrote on Facebook on August 17.

On August 18, the publication Zn.ua released an exclusive video of successful launches of the “Flamingo” missiles, first during testing and then in combat conditions, at targets on the territory of the russian federation.

“The company, whose workshops are located in a secure location in the Carpathian forests, conducted successful missile tests several months ago, after which it went into serial production. During the development process, the manufacturer focused on the three most important components of the domestic cruise missile: range, warhead size, and the ability for quick deployment and launch. Now it can be said that all three components have been achieved”, - the publication quotes the manufacturing company FirePoint.

According to its information, the warhead weighing 1150 kilograms and the flight range of more than 3000 kilometers make it possible to destroy almost any targets at depths previously completely inaccessible to Ukrainian strike systems, including long-range drones. In addition to the declared characteristics, the missile is protected from the effects of russian electronic warfare.

The combat use of the “Flamingo” missiles, which has been taking place for some time, has proven their effectiveness and managed to strike assigned targets on the territory of russia.

Now the company, which is simultaneously the manufacturer of some of the most widespread drones of the “FP” series, is actively engaged in scaling the product and expanding production.
