"Four dead and seven wounded – an investigation has been launched into the facts of enemy shelling of Dobropillia and Kostiantynivka", - reported the Donetsk oblast prosecutor's office.
It is noted that on August 18, 2025, the occupiers struck Dobropillia, dropping a FAB-250 bomb. As a result of the attack, a woman was killed on the street. Three men aged 26, 31, and 74 were also injured. The victims were diagnosed with mine-explosive injuries, fractures, and a shrapnel wound.
In addition, the russian armed forces attacked Kostiantynivka. The enemy army fired 5 Smerch MLRS missiles at the city.
"Two civilians died from injuries incompatible with life. Four more local residents sustained shrapnel wounds, mine-explosive injuries, and a laceration. The victims are receiving qualified medical care. Doctors assess the condition of some of them as moderate and severe. At the same time, russian troops shelled a settlement with artillery. A 74-year-old pensioner was killed", - the prosecutor's office reported.
In addition, apartment buildings and private houses, a food establishment, and a shop were damaged in the epicenters of the explosions.
"Under the procedural guidance of the Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka district prosecutor's offices, pre-trial investigations have been launched in criminal proceedings on the facts of war crimes (Part 2, Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine)", - the office reported.
