During a meeting with journalists in the Oval Office on July 14, Donald Trump stated that he is "very disappointed in putin". According to the U.S. president, just two months ago he had still hoped for a "deal" with putin, reports the Telegram channel "Current Time".
Trump also said that the U.S. is preparing to impose secondary sanctions on russia and its trading partners within 50 days.
According to the U.S. president, the rate of the secondary tariffs will be "around 100%".
"If we don't reach an agreement (on ending the war in Ukraine – ed.) within 50 days, then it's 100%, and that’s that. It doesn't get any simpler", - Trump said.
