President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that Russian President Vladimir Putin wanted to take over the entire territory Ukraine. The head of the Ukrainian state said that in an interview to CNN, - reports Interfax-Ukraine.
"The purpose of Putin is an attempt to destabilize the situation in Ukraine. They need neither Donetsk nor Luhansk. They need the whole of Ukraine should be a part of the Russian Empire and they want to destabilize the global security situation in the world," - said Poroshenko.
He also recalled that 13 soldiers had been killed and 91 soldiers had been injured, the total number of attacks was 1.4 thousand during past 2 weeks.
According to Poroshenko, Russia’s such bombardments in Aleppo (Syria) have the same purpose to destabilize the security situation in the world.
He added that Russian aggression had totally destroyed the post-war world system of security, because the aggressor was a permanent member of the United Nations Security Council.
