This follows from the comment made by the press secretary of the russian dictator, Dmitry Peskov, regarding the fact that the U.S. President is disappointed with the conversation with putin due to the latter’s unwillingness to cease hostilities.
“Of course, we pay very close attention to all statements made by President Trump”, - the kremlin spokesperson didn’t actually answer when asked about the russian leadership's reaction to Donald Trump’s words.
Peskov once again stated that “during the conversation, President putin reiterated that we are interested in achieving our goals in the course of the special military operation, and preferably to do so by political and diplomatic means. But since that is currently not possible, we will continue our special operation”, - he quoted the statement of the kremlin’s master, which, according to Trump, caused the U.S. President’s disappointment.
