Throughout June 2025, the air defense of Ukraine's Defense Forces destroyed 4,750 aerial targets, including missiles of various types and hundreds of enemy drones. This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on July 1.
Specifically, the following were eliminated:
▪ 93 Kh-101/Kh-55SM cruise missiles;
▪ 14 Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles;
▪ 12 Kalibr cruise missiles;
▪ 13 Kh-59/69 guided air missiles;
▪ 27 Iskander-K cruise missiles;
▪ 2,453 Shahed-type attack UAVs;
▪ 659 reconnaissance UAVs;
▪ 1,479 UAVs of other types.
The Air Force aviation continues to operate actively in the air: during June, 895 sorties were carried out, including:
▪ about 580 for fighter aviation cover;
▪ over 220 for fire missions and ground forces support.
As a result of combat missions, aviation of the Defense Forces destroyed 646 aerial targets in June, and also struck command posts, logistics facilities, and concentrations of enemy personnel and equipment.
The Ukrainian sky continues to hold thanks to the coordinated efforts of air defense and combat aviation.
