"Most of the warriors who are returning today from russian captivity had been there for more than two years. And now, finally, they are home", - stated President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky on June 20.
According to him, these are defenders of Mariupol, the Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Kharkiv, and Chernihiv oblasts. They are soldiers of the Armed Forces, National Guard, and Border Guard Service.
As reported, yesterday, June 19, a group of severely ill and wounded servicemen was returned from russian captivity.
