U.S. Special Representative for Ukraine Keith Kellogg said at a forum in Brussels that the United States conducted an analysis of documents submitted by russia and Ukraine and merged them into a single draft proposing an end to hostilities, according to russian media.
According to Kellogg, a list of conditions was formed that reflects the approaches of both sides. Washington first received the Ukrainian draft, then a document from the russian side, referred to as a memorandum. These positions were compared, and afterward, as Kellogg claims, a general structure for a potential agreement was developed.
"Right now, we feel fairly comfortable [with this version]. We know what it looks like. We know what the end result may look like, what it should look like, if we can reach that point. We believe it's a win. A win means it will help achieve a peace agreement", - said the special representative.
When asked about the essence of the plan, Kellogg replied that the key element is a ceasefire along the entire front line. He clarified that discussions on this topic had taken place across several international platforms.
