“Russian missile and Shahed strikes are louder than the attempts by the United States and others in the world to force russia into peace. For yet another night, instead of a ceasefire – massive strikes with Shahed drones, cruise missiles, and ballistic ones”, - wrote President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky on June 10, adding that Odesa, the Dnipropetrovsk and Chernihiv oblasts were also targets.
He noted that in total, the russians used 315 drones for the attacks, over 250 of which were Shaheds, and 7 missiles, including 2 of North Korean ballistic origin. Regular homes were damaged, urban infrastructure too, and in Odesa, even a maternity hospital became a russian target. Thirteen people were injured. Sadly, there are fatalities.
“It’s important that the response to this and other similar russian strikes is not the world’s silence, but concrete actions. Actions from America, which has the power to force russia into peace. Actions from Europe, which has no alternative but to be strong. Actions from others in the world, those who called for diplomacy and an end to the war and whom the world ignored. We need tough pressure for the sake of peace”, - Zelensky urged.
