Dmitry Medvedev wrote about this on his Telegram channel.

He urged russians not to worry too much about the destruction of russian combat aircraft, because “retribution is inevitable”.

As for the so-called “memorandum” that the kremlin handed over to the Ukrainian side in Istanbul on June 2, Medvedev openly admitted that the russian proposals contain no agreements or compromises.

“The negotiations in Istanbul are not for a compromise peace on someone’s imagined unrealistic terms, but for our swift victory and the total destruction of the neo-Nazi regime. That’s the essence of the russian Memorandum, which was published yesterday”, - he stated.

“Everything that must explode will surely explode, and those who must be exterminated – will vanish”, - he voiced the not-so-secret meaning behind russia’s demands for Ukraine’s full capitulation.
