In the temporarily occupied territory of the Donetsk oblast, the russian occupation administration has tightened control over the repair of private housing damaged during russia’s offensive in 2022–2023. This was reported by the resistance movement "Zhovta Strichka" on Telegram.

According to activists, in Bakhmut and Sievierodonetsk, private homeowners are prohibited from carrying out any repair work without approval from the military commandant’s office.

"This includes even minor repairs — replacing windows, roofing, or insulating a facade. They are especially strict about properties near roads or on upper floors. According to local residents, russian militants are afraid of 'observation posts' being set up", - the movement’s statement said.
