Moscow has defined strategic priorities for the summer-autumn campaign and is not yet planning to scale back combat operations against Ukraine. This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing sources in the Defense Forces.

According to their data, the enemy will focus efforts on achieving two main objectives. The first is the complete capture of the Luhansk and Donetsk oblasts within their administrative borders. The second is the formation of a so-called "buffer zone" 15–20 km deep in the territories of the Sumy and Kharkiv oblasts.

"If successful in these directions, the enemy plans further offensive actions aimed at capturing new territories in the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson oblasts",- the source told.

Earlier military expert Serhii Hrabskyi stated that russia has no intention of agreeing to any truce, as escalation and prolongation of the war are its key strategy.
