As a result of the attack, two residents of the capital were killed. This was reported by the city's mayor, Vitalii Klychko, on May 7.
"Two people died in a residential building in the Shevchenkivskyi district of the capital. There, UAV debris hit the upper floors of a five-story residential building", - the mayor noted.
He also reported 8 injured, including 4 children.
Around 1 a.m., the russians struck the city with ballistic missiles. Later, two more air raid alerts were announced due to the threat of strike UAVs.
The State Emergency Service (SES) reported the consequences of the attacks:
— The Sviatoshynskyi district: debris hit a 9-story residential building. Fires broke out in apartments on the 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th floors.
— The Solomianskyi district: UAV debris fell on open ground.
— The Dniprovskyi district: a drone fell on a multi-story residential building. Partial destruction of the ceiling on the 29th and 30th floors. No fire or casualties reported.
— The Shevchenkivskyi district: UAV debris fell on a 5-story residential building. Fires broke out in apartments on the 3rd and 5th floors.
