It was reported by the so-called "Prosecutor's Office of the Antratsyt district" that six miners from a local coal mining enterprise worked without pay from May 2024 to February 2025.
The statement says the debt totaled nearly two million rubles. Thus, on average, each miner earned around 33,000 rubles per month (400 USD – ed.), which is only slightly above the minimum wage set in the russian federation. In 2025, that amount is 22,440 rubles (280 USD – ed.).
