This was stated by U.S. President’s Special Representative for Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, in an interview with Fox News on April 29.
According to him, the result of frank, sincere, and tough discussions with the Ukrainians in London was a drafted list of conditions that includes 22 very specific actions.
“They (the Ukrainians – OstroV) didn’t like all of them, but no one will like the final position you come up with. That’s normal when you have some negotiations. But I think we’re in a pretty good place with them... when it comes to the Ukrainians, we’re very comfortable with where we are right now”, - Kellogg stated.
Also, according to him, russian Foreign Minister Lavrov is mistaken when he speaks of the possibility of russia winning the war.
“Russia will not win this war. Over the past year and a half, russia has not achieved any major success... They’ve lost hundreds of thousands of soldiers, (they’re) advancing by meters, not miles. And the Ukrainians are fighting on their own land. They’re fighting fiercely. So when russia says they’re winning, it’s just not true”, - Kellogg emphasized.
