Russian occupiers are making it more difficult for Ukrainians to leave occupied territories. This was reported by the "Zhovta Strichka" movement on Telegram on December 26.
"The occupiers are complicating Ukrainians' exit from occupation. Activists from the 'Zhovta Strichka' movement report that if there is a debt for utilities or taxes listed on 'Gosuslugi' governmental portal, you will not be able to leave the territory controlled by russia. A corresponding notice 'EXIT FROM THE COUNTRY RESTRICTED' appears in the application", - the message states.
It was noted that while "cheap utilities" were one of russia's main selling points, tariffs on temporarily occupied territories are constantly increasing, along with the tax burden.
Earlier reports indicated that occupiers are also recruiting Luhansk teenagers into a "police class" in a school that once specialized in linguistics.
