The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, the Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk and the head of the Verkhovna Rada Vladimir Groisman appealed to the people of Ukraine with a joint statement in which they called to "calm down the political passions and show the political culture" and emphasize that the issue of changing the Prime Minister is not necessary. The statement was posted on the official website of Poroshenko.

Addressing to the nation, the authors note first of all that by their joint efforts they "managed to stop the advance of the aggressor".

"Revived Armed Forces of Ukraine have received adequate funding from the state budget. An international coalition in support of Ukraine has been created. In the complex negotiations with international partners an agreement to restructure the external debt of the state has been reached", - said the statement.

The statement also noted that "in the last quarter of this year, in time of war and a large part of the industrial potential the Ukrainian economy showed signs of growth".

"For the first time since 1991 Ukraine has managed to get rid of energy blackmail of Russia. Decentralization has become a real change in the system of power for which the Maidan fought. There is a structural reform of the energy sector of the country. Systemic changes in the direction of anti-corruption policy are taking place" - say the President, the Prime Minister and the Parliament Speaker.

They also note that "we have managed a difficult way of Ukraine's implementation of all the requirements for cancellation of visa regime with the EU". "As of January 1st of the next year a regime of deep and comprehensive free trade zone between Ukraine and the European Union will work. This was only possible thanks to the coordinated work of the President, the Verkhovna Rada and the government. The achievements of the Ukrainian authorities are recognized by our Western partners and they support the implementation of the initiated reforms", - say signers of the statement.

They emphasize that "today it is important not to stop halfway because we have to go all the way to the Ukrainian success". "Such important state reforms will ensure our victory over the aggressor and will serve as the basis for an early membership of Ukraine in the European Union and NATO. We understand that any delay in restarting the quality of the state will be playing into the hands of the external enemy", - said the statement.

The statement also mentioned "the priorities of the next few weeks", namely:

- Strengthening the combat capability of the Armed Forces of Ukraine;

- Adopting amendments to the tax laws that have been proposed by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the President of Ukraine and are defined as urgent;

- Adopting the Law "On State Budget of Ukraine for 2016";

- Solutions that will ensure the continuation of cooperation between Ukraine and the International Monetary Fund;

- Supporting steps by the government and the National Bank on economic stabilization and recovery of the financial and banking sector;

- Completing the procedure of amending the Constitution of Ukraine concerning decentralization;

- Amending the Constitution of Ukraine in terms of judicial reform.

"To adopt critical for Ukraine state decisions on Thursday, December 17th an extraordinary session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine must be held. Now more than ever there is a need for unity, mutual support and joint future work of the President, the Verkhovna Rada and the government. The question of changing the prime minister is not on the agenda", - said the statement.

We must put the interests of Ukraine above all, to calm political passions and show the political culture worthy European country. We condemn the hysterical anti-authoritative, anti-government and anti-state campaign, organized by the corrupt oligarchs. We also consider any form of opposition in a parliamentary coalition unacceptable as such that " brings grist to the mill of "enemies of Ukrainian statehood and democracy", - said the statement.

"We are united in the vision of state development strategy. The coalition agreement strengthens the plan of exact steps for its implementation. The discussions should concern the best ways to realize this plan. The unity that we show now is a key factor in successful change of the country. This is what society expects from us and this is our highest responsibility", - conclude Poroshenko, Groisman and Yatsenyuk.
