Russia's permanent representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, suggested that the international community should rid itself of the "current Kyiv regime" through peaceful means; otherwise, the "special military operation" (SMO) will continue until all its objectives are achieved. He made this statement during a session of the UN Security Council.

"If the Western bloc does not allow us to peacefully remove this 'cancer', which is the current Kyiv regime, and if Washington and its satellites' geopolitical and economic considerations outweigh the saving of this country, we will continue our SMO until its objectives are achieved militarily. If we have no other way to achieve peace", - Nebenzya tried to portray the SMO as a tool to "save" Ukraine.

As reported, on February 24, 2022, russia, under putin's orders, launched an unprovoked aggression against Ukraine.
