On the afternoon of June 24, russian military forces struck Pokrovsk in the Donetsk oblast. As of 14:15, at least four people have been reported dead and 34 injured. This was reported by the head of the Oblast Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin, on Telegram.

According to him, among the injured are two children, aged 12 and 13. They are in moderate to serious condition.

"Police, rescuers, and local authorities are working at the scene. The injured are receiving all necessary medical assistance. Russians launched two Iskander-M missiles at the city, destroying one private house and damaging 16 others", - said the OMA head.

"This is one of the largest enemy strikes on civilians in recent times. The full extent of its consequences is yet to be determined. There has not been a single safe place left in the Donetsk oblast for a long time. Take care of yourselves! Evacuate!", - urged Filashkin.
