Two civilians were killed in Toretsk, the Donetsk oblast, on May 28 due to an enemy strike. This was reported by the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office's information policy department on Telegram.

"The enemy attack on Toretsk claimed the lives of two civilians, with three others injured", - the statement said.

It was specified that on May 28, 2024, at 6:00 p.m., russian forces attacked Toretsk with three aerial bombs. The occupiers targeted a residential area in the central part of the city.

As a result of a direct hit, the entrances of two apartment buildings and a business building were destroyed.

"A 63-year-old local resident and his wife sustained fatal injuries. Three women aged 24, 53, and 63 were injured to varying degrees. The injured were taken to the hospital, where they are receiving qualified medical care", - the statement added.

The final number of casualties is being determined.

Preliminarily, russian forces used KAB-250 bombs for the attack on the settlement.
